Lighting FAQ
Can you install a ceiling fan where there's just a light fixture?
Usually yes — but the box has to be fan-rated to support the weight and motion. We'll check and swap the box if needed. That's the part most DIY installs get wrong.
Do you install recessed lighting in existing ceilings?
Yes. We cut in recessed cans or wafer lights, run the wiring, and patch cleanly. We'll also make sure your circuits can handle the added load.
Can you add dimmer switches?
Yes — but the dimmer has to match the bulb type (LED dimmers are different from old incandescent ones). We'll pair them correctly so there's no flicker or buzz.
